You may find us at random places online as our old name Zen Hostel, Nikko Japan.
It's our goal to give information to guests of the beautiful nature of Nikko and to be sure that guests are able to spend as much of their time enjoying it all. Although we are remote, we are highly aware of transportation in the area, bus timetables and busy periods of the year that cause congestion and traffic jams and crowds on trails. Whether it's being at the hostel, swimming here in the river, the mountains, hiking trails, waterfalls or the bit of nature in the lower part of Nikko around the Unesco world heritage site, we will help you explore as much as you feel. Most importantly to achieving this goal is our free shuttle.
Pick up from JR Fubasami on the JR Nikko line or Shimogoshiro on the Tobu line and morning rides to the Unesco temple and shrines area or the bus stand for rides to the hiking and nature spots (Senjogahara / Nantai Mountain / Lake Chuzenji / Yumoto Onsen).
We have tours, or you will need the All-Nikko Pass purchased in Asakusa, the Nikko Free Pass or get to-or-from the area with the Narita / Haneda Airports direct buses.
Nikko Japan has many hiking trails.
