This hostel is great for friends traveling together and solo travellers.
It's like the vacation home you're parents used to take you to, but without the parents. We like it to be fun here.
Full western breakfast or Japanese breakfast included (served until 11am).
Price includes a shuttle service; pick up from JR Fubasami on the JR Nikko line or Shimogoshiro on the Tobu line anytime after 4pm.
Nikko Japan has many hiking trails.

Free wifi internet everywhere (from optic fiber connection) including the beach, the open air lounge, common room, private rooms and annex rooms. There is also and iMac in the common room.
Short hikes are nearby and a popular mountain trailhead 500m upstream from the hostel.
There are no souvenir shops and no city lights nearby. Only stars, trees and mountains.
There is no curfew, so you can enjoy the stars at night, hang out together in the open air lounge area on the side of the main building on the river, or take midnight strolls.
You can hire bikes for 500 yen for the length of your stay. You can borrow swimming tubes, snorkels and goggles to swim in the river at the hostel.
All rooms are Japanese tatami style (private rooms have locks on doors) with futon, except the 8 person mixed room has beds.
Checking-in : Free shuttle from 4pm to 11:30pm from; Fubasami station on the JR Nikko line or Shimogoshiro Station (no phone at this station so call before you get on the train.
Snorers must sleep in the private annex riverside rooms and are absolutely not allowed in the mixed room in the main building unless you're part of a group that reserved the whole room.

We have tours, or you will need the All-Nikko Pass purchased in Asakusa, the Nikko Free Pass or get to-or-from the area with the Narita / Haneda Airports direct buses.
